I have got another yummy, cool and colourful smoothie that I would like to share. This is a fruit rich smoothie and what I mean by that is that there are just 4 different fruits in it with a dash of honey and nothing else. Very simple isn’t it, and the taste is just absolutely lovely.
This is just great for breakfast. I made this for myself, but hubby had a taste and decided that he would like to have one too, he is usually not a big smoothie person so that was a yay for me.
The four fruits that I use in this are
Banana – it adds a touch of natural sweetness with some creaminess.
Strawberries – I love the taste and the goodness they bring in healthwise.
Mandarin – along with the strawberries they boost up the immune system.
Watermelon – the lovely juicy watermelon brings taste and the required water content to blend these all together without the addition of anything else.
I do add some honey, it helps to cut through the tartness of the citrus fruits leaving the smoothie with the right amount of citrusy flavour and a hint of sweetness.

Let’s get to the recipe
Ingredients
Banana – 1 medium sliced
Mandarin – 1 small seedless peeled
Strawberries – 4 – 5 roughly chopped
Watermelon – 1.5 cups chopped
Honey – 2 teaspoons
Ice cubes

Method
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend till they are smooth and well incorporated.
- Pour in a glass and serve.

Enjoy!!!!
This is so refreshing and the picture alone makes me thirsty! GOD bless you, Perth Girl!

I’m thinking this is a great way to get some good nutrition into the kiddos … and maybe the dads, too.

Absolutely. I always use this to get in a good portion of fruit into all in my family. I gave this to my hubby yesterday morning and he was working from home so he come around noon to me and says I am starving as all you gave me was some liquid for breakfast 😜.

This looks and sounds really good, Manu. The photos are beautiful too! Andrew would much prefer I make this over my smoothy this morning with frozen strawberries. He said, “I didn’t know you put a brick in the blender.” 😂 Yes, it made quite a bit of noise.

You cracked me up when I read Andrews comment about a brick in the blender 😂. It does sound like that when frozen fruit is out in.

This looks amazing! We are blessed here in the Amazon Jungle with delicious, fresh tropical fruit, so one of my missionary perks is lots of heavenly smoothies. I’m going to have to try this combo! ❤

Awesome Colleen. Thank you, glad you loved it so much. I haven’t been too adventurous in the kitchen in the last month. It has been cold and rainy here and all I feel like doing is curl up with my dog, a blanket, a book and something warm to drink.
