Hi Friends,
Am sharing with you all today the latest episode of my podcast.
In this episode, we take time to reflect on how often we look back and give thanks and praise to God. Where does our tendency lie – does our zeal for seeking God dim when all is going well? What does your time with God look like- is it more a list of requests or is also filled with praise and gratitude for Him?
We spend time in Luke 17:11-19 and take a deep dive into the response of a person who interacted with Jesus. Would we respond like the one or the others who were with him at the time?
Would love to hear your thoughts on this episode.
God Bless.
Though the nine had faith, they seemingly were not grateful for the gift of healing they received. I think our faith compels us to live with gratitude everyday; recognizing God in our daily lives.

Your reflections on Luke 17:11-19 were quite profound. The emphasis you placed on craving nearness to God with praise and gratitude, and not just what burdens us, was valuable to hear. Thanks, Manu! π

Thank you for this beautiful reminder, Manu. I really love the reflection that you gave on this story. It helps us to check our own hearts and see how we are responding to the Lord. May we always have praise and gratitude in our hearts, in good times and not so good times. He is worthy ππ»

Worldly concerns can cause us to take God’s goodness and care for granted. We need to open our eyes to the wonder and majesty of God’s world, to open our hearts in praise, and to be thankful for His care for us, and we should show gratitude for His help and answered prayers. A great reminder Manu; it is important in our prayers and actions to thank God and worship Him. ππ¦πΊ

I enjoyed your message! Itβs a wonderful reminder that although God wants our requests, He also wants to have intimacy with us. Just being in His presence and spending time with Him is one of the greatest blessing He gives us. Also I appreciate the reminder to have a heart of thanksgiving. Thank you, Manu. β€οΈ

I never considered before how the returning leper received not only the physical healing but also a deeper, spiritual healing as well. Gratitude to God does that! Even secular research has proven the benefits to mind, body, and spirit when we’re thankful. How much more so when that gratitude is directed to the Giver of all good things. Thank you, Manu!

I love GOD and how HE works in all of our moments – and oh the leper! He returned and was twice blessed. And maybe we are too, when we return and remember and are thankful GOD is near and opened our eyes. We should always remember what HE did for us…….preach it to ourselves.

Absolutely agree about preaching truth to ourselves. It truly helps to bolster our faith and shift our perspective when we need it.
Thank you Maxine.
