The year is almost done, how are you all spending these last few days. I am having a quiet and restful time this week.
As the year closes, it is time to reflect, look back but also look ahead.
I urge you to take a few moments and write down all the wonderful ways God showed up for you and your family as you reflect back on the year. And then think of things that you want to bring before him in prayer for 2024 and spend some time with family sharing this and praying together. At times we can stay so focused on what did not go great through the year, but intentionally looking for how God showed up really helps to see how God has looked after us in the past year through all the ups and downs. And it is beautiful way to posture your heart towards worshipping him and trusting him with what lies ahead.
May you all have a very blessed New Year.

We used to sing a song in church meetings, “Count your blessings, name them one by one; count your blessings, see what God has done.”
A year end and new beginning marker is an excellent time to do this. And sing the song again!😉

Taking time to give thanks while also focusing on God for the upcoming year is a recipe for experiencing God in wonderful ways. It also helps us to not get bogged down in life. May your year be blessed Manu 🙂

It was a difficult year, but so many blessings. I am especially thankful for answered prayers. I like your idea of writing down every blessing; I do similar in a daily gratitude journal.

Great idea to note the ways the Lord has shown up in my life over this past year!! My time in therapy over the past year has made big improvements for me mentally which is such a blessing!!!
