The Lord is Faithful

2 Thessalonians 3:3 “But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.”

The Lord is indeed faithful. If there is any uncertainty that is setting your heart to be anxious, take refuge in him. Psalm 91:4 “He will cover You with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.”

• Reflect on the past times the Lord has been faithful and provided for you in wonderful ways and give him thanks for it and let the remembrance of those times strengthen your trust in God. Psalm 16:8 “I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.”

• Rest in the knowledge that he is always with you in the midst of your present anguish. Psalm 23:4 “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for you are with me, your rod and your staff comfort me. “

• Look ahead with hope and trust because in the Lord you are never without hope. He never leaves or forsakes you, he is a trustworthy God. Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Hebrews 6:19 We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.
